Starting A Youth Club - Steps

  1. Formation of Youth Club Ad-Hoc Committee with the help of Youth worker and a repute person from the locality.
  2. Contact District Youth Coordinator of NYK and inform the intention of forming a youth club.
  3. Launch membership campaign, enroll youths from the age group of 13 to 35 years including differently abled.
  4. Elect Executive committee and office bearers from the enrolled members after convening a general meeting on a date convenient to the District Youth Co-ordinator of NYK and village head / leaders / repute person.
  5. Formation of an advisory committee is also recommended to get the involvement of the local elders.
  6. Develop a Memorandum of Association, Rules and Regulations and Code of Conduct for the Youth Club. It can be prepared by either executive committee or a sub-committee which is executed only for this purpose.
  7. Convene a meeting of executive committee for approval of the Memorandum of Association and the Rules and Regulations.
  8. General Body meeting for Final approval of the Memorandum of Association and the Rules and Regulations.
  9. Apply for the registration of Youth Club under Societies Registration Act, 1860 or other corresponding Act of the State.
  10. Apply for the affiliation of the Youth Club with the District Nehru Yuva Kendra.
